Barring something totally unforeseen, this will be the last post here, at least for awhile. We all know that nothing lasts forever, that all things must and do end, and that time's now come for me and this little blog. It started on August 8, 2008, really as a sort of personal journal. So how'd we do? After 4 years and 3 months there are 20,998 posts, and we've had 1,176,679 unique visitors from all over the world, resulting in 1,660,731 page views. Yeah, I know, get a life, lol. That's what I intend to do, and now I'm taking some much needed and long-overdue time away from the blog, time I need to sort out some things in my personal life and change some things that need changing. I'm not sure when or if I'll be back, let's call it a "sabbatical" of sorts. It's been an honor to get to know a number of you, and I'm grateful for the opportunity to share what I've found with you all. I sincerely thank each and every one of you for stopping by! The blog itself will remain intact as a resource if Blogger allows it, though commenting is permanently disabled to prevent those persistent live-link comment spammers from acting out. Please visit the many fine blogs and websites listed in the "Favorites" sidebars. And as I've told you many times, everyone's doing their best in hard times, so please be kind to each other, we really are all we have...
